From Academy Award winner Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Nebraska) comes the hilarious film that delivers big comedy... and small Matt Damon. When scientists find a way to shrink humans to five inches tall, Paul Safranek (Academy Award winner Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to ditch their stressed out lives in order to get small and live large in a luxurious downsized community. Filled with life-changing adventures and endless possibilities, Leisureland offers more than riches, as Paul discovers a whole new world and realizes that we are meant for something bigger. Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) also stars in this tremendously entertaining and original film.

  • A Boring Film!

First off, this movie should not be billed as a comedy. The only humorous part of this movie was an early scene with Kristen Wiig, otherwise be prepared for boredom.

The movie started out decently good until the halfway mark and the storyline started to get a bit awkward. I eventually had to turn the movie off. I recommend avoiding watching this one.

I liked this movie. It is very watchable & has some interesting characters. The concept comes through well & it has some warmth & heart. Yep, it’s a bit preachy in parts. I get it since so many movies these days do try to push an agenda. I just didn’t let it bother me. I rented it for 99 cents on iTunes & it was a nice, easy watch. 😎

This was actually a decent film. Not amazing by any means, but worth watching. Now here’s the reason it’s getting such bad reviews from people, understandably so. It was horribly miss advertised! This film is not a comedy......like at all. Sure there are a few humorous scenes but overall this film is about nothing like the previews they showed. It’s not light hearted or fun. It’s actually a serious film focusing on environment.

Dumb plot, bad acting and overall just lame. It would have better if it was a comedic. Glad it was only $0.99

This was a waste of two hours for us. Terrible movie and the trailer is definitely much better! I love fiction so I thought this had a great story line but they went off track totally as if the second half of the movie was directed by someone else altogether! The focus was less on downsizing and more on every other random story possible at the end. Seriously, don’t waste your time
  • Just wasted my $$ and time.

Worst movie without any messages. Stupid plot showing for 2 hours about rich and slum still exists in utopia. I have no idea what was on director's head. Alexander, I hope this is your last movie in your filming career. Seriously, this is 2018 and the movie should have came out in 80s or 90s. I mean in 1880s.
